Why I need to get into content creation
I have never been great at public speaking honestly, but it's about that time I overcome that hurdle. I have been wanting to create content for years, but my fears about being open with random people on the internet have always stopped me from really pursuing this interest. Previously I have done streaming, and made roughly $540 at my peak from a HelloFresh sponsorship, and I have done 10k views on my biggest YouTube video ever back in 2024.
Now more than ever I truly need to get into content creation. Being a profitable trader and running a profitable agency is great, but it does not bring me as many connections as I would want to have. Inspirations to finally take action and begin my social media journey are primarily Daylo Trading and NPCNiko. Daylo specifically has gained over 133k followers and I have been following him since he only had 2k.
Daylo converted his following to a wonderful mentorship program and has collaborated with some other traders in person, and Niko has had the privilege to go on TJR's island game show with less than a year of creating content.
Having the ability to meet with others in the space would help me complete my goals a lot faster.
Content "plan"
I put plan in quotes mainly because it's less of a plan and more of an idea that I will act on and change as time goes on.
Daily goals
- 2–3 short-form posts a day ranging from trading related to anything else I want to talk about
- 2 long-form weekly about trading and my life
- 4–5 JayOS posts weekly; most of these posts will be the base of long-form videos
Milestones
- 1k followers — free Discord
- 5k followers — live trading in the Discord (free; won't be every day since it's free — just whenever I feel like doing it)
- 10k followers — huge eval and funded giveaway
Punishments for failure to post
- I need to post at least once a day on short form. 1 eval given away for every missed day, given away at the end of the month.
- I need to post at least one short form a week; failure to do so will result in 5 evals given out at the end of the month.
- I need to post at least 3 things on JayOS a week; failure to do so will result in 3 evals given out at the end of the month.
